News-New languages now offered
Next school year languages Latin and ASL are being offered as languages other than english. They classes will be provided by videos and online programs and a teacher will instruct in the videos.

Commentary-Are chrome books restrictive for the right reasons?
Chromebook restrict netflix and similar sites to keep us safe. The use of the technology given to us is for educational purposes with may seem stupid but it may be for a right reason.

Feature- Woman affected by shooting years later
A woman involved in a shooting who was saved asks herself why she didn't die. It affected her emotions and perspective. This affected her brain. She couldn't walk, talk, read or write. She teaches her son many values, to take care of the tv he watches and video games he plays.

 A freshman manages to handle theatre, speed while having good grades in all her pre-ap classes. She says it can be too much to handle but it is what makes her have fun and enjoy

Reviews-AISD doesn't truck around
The Nacho average food truck brings a different taste to Bowie and other school. The prices are affordable and the food is the same maybe a little better that the cafeteria food.

In Depth- The Mental Stigma
The shooting in Parkland Florida left many people worried and causing stress all over. Unfortunately events like these can cause brain problems and mental illness and many don't look for help needed.

My favorite photo in the newspaper is the first one on page 16 because it shows power, leadership, a team and unity. Everything we should all be doing.

My least favorite photo would be the first one on the first page. It is my least because in my opinion the messages and posters in the event were annoying.

I would have liked to shoot the No Place for Hate event. I think it would have been fun, taking photos while people perform.

for the most part the photography is really good. For the major events the photography was the best of all.
